Grove Coat Sewing Pattern - Men's/Straight Fit
Sew a coat with finishes so beautiful, you'll want to show off the inside too!
The Grove features a unique darted saddle sleeve, and a beautifully-faced pleated lining. A generous hood to keep raindrops and wind off, deep pockets for stashing treasures, and a relaxed comfortable fit that is ready for adventure.
Skill level: Adventurous beginner - Intermediate. The finishes may be elevated, but all of the techniques used are completely achievable.
Skills you will learn: sewing saddle sleeves, facings, bagging out a lining, in-seam pockets. Fitting adjustment resources included.
Video Support: A full course of clear, concise videos accompany this pattern, alongside a comprehensive written and photographed instruction booklet.
Sizing + Supplies
Choose between two size ranges:
Size Range 30-52 Includes youth/tween sizes, bridging from where the children's sizes finish
Size Range 46-60

The Grove (Men/Straight Fit) is currently available to a size 60. We have drafted to a Size 66, but we need additional testers in order to release these last 3 sizes. Make old things new again! Twig & Tale patterns pair wonderfully with recycled fabrics. Look to gently-used blankets, vintage sheets, corduroy or wool trousers for inspiration.
